Personal video for professional services
Short answer: Clinics, law firms, accountants and financial advisors use Yibily for thank-you, follow-up and reminder videos to people they work with or are referred to. Each video has the contact's name and their company's website on screen. Keep client and patient information out of every video.
Who this is for
- Clinics and private practices that want to thank referral partners and follow up with prospective patients.
- Law firms and attorneys that want to thank referrers and follow up after consultations.
- Accountants (CPAs) that want to welcome new clients and thank the professionals who refer them.
- Financial and exit-planning advisors that want to follow up after seminars and first meetings.
Use cases
- Thank-you: to a referral partner, such as a CPA thanking an attorney who sent a client. See thank-you and follow-up.
- Follow-up: after a consultation or seminar, naming what you discussed in general terms.
- Welcome: to a new client, with the first step they should take.
- Reminders: a short note about an appointment, a document due or a renewal. See reminders.
Clinics: patient information (not yet available)
When we can offer a BAA, patient videos will be limited to thank-you and appointment reminders, with only these details:
- The patient's first name
- The appointment date and time
- The doctor's name
Nothing else. No diagnoses, treatments, medications, insurance, billing, or reason for the visit. Do not add the patient's last name, phone number or email address to the video.
Patient information is not accepted yet. Our video providers do not yet have the agreements a HIPAA business associate agreement (BAA) requires, so we cannot sign a BAA for patient information. Until we can, do not send patient information through Yibily. Use thank-you and follow-up videos for referral partners and other contacts instead.
Law firms and advisors: client information
Keep client names, case details, account numbers and tax information out of every video. Use the greeting, the company's public website and your general message only.
Rules and approvals
Your firm, licensing board, bar association or compliance team may set rules for advertising and client communications. Get approval for your main video and greeting before you send anything. Yibily does not give legal or compliance advice. If you are a covered entity under HIPAA, check with your compliance advisor before using Yibily with patients.
Many practices start with referral partners and prospective clients rather than current patients or clients.
How revisions work
- Name, link and website fixes: free, up to 2 per contact video, within 10 days of the video being built. We rebuild only that contact's video.
- Greeting re-take (saying the name again): $0.50 per contact video.
- Changing part of your main message: $2.50 per 15 seconds of new wording, or part of 15 seconds. A 5-second change is $2.50. A 20-second change is $5.00. The same at every length.
- Re-cutting the whole main message: $0.50 per second of the main being re-cut. An uploaded main video gets the same 75% discount.
Frequently asked questions

Not yet. We cannot accept patient information until we can sign a business associate agreement and our video providers are covered too. Clinics can use thank-you and follow-up videos with referral partners and other contacts in the meantime.
Can lawyers use Yibily?
Yes, if your state bar's advertising and client communication rules allow it and your firm approves it. Get approval before you send.
Can financial advisors use Yibily?
Yes, if your firm reviews client communications. Get compliance approval for your main video and greeting before sending.
What information does a video contain?
The contact's first name, spoken in your voice, their company's public website on screen, your main message and your booking link. Keep client details out of your main message.
