Personal video for nonprofits and fundraisers
Short answer: Nonprofits use Yibily to thank donors, sponsors, partners and volunteers personally. Each person gets a video with their name spoken in your voice, their company's website on screen when they have one, and a message from your executive director or development team. Keep gift amounts and private donor details out of every video.
Who this is for
- Executive directors and founders of small and mid-sized nonprofits.
- Development and fundraising teams who look after major donors, sponsors and grant partners.
- Event and gala teams who follow up with sponsors and table hosts.
- Volunteer coordinators who welcome and thank volunteers.
Use cases
- Donor thank-yous: a personal thank-you after a gift, without naming the amount. See thank-you and follow-up.
- Corporate sponsors: a thank-you with the sponsor's website on screen, before or after your event.
- Partners and funders: a short update on what their support made possible.
- Volunteers: a welcome before their first shift, and a thank-you after a big day.
- Event follow-ups: a thank-you to each sponsor, speaker and table host. See event organizers.
- Reminders: a friendly note before an event or a volunteer shift. See reminders.
Why it fits nonprofits
Donors and sponsors give to people and causes they feel connected to. A thank-you that says their name in the director's own voice, recorded once, lets a small team thank everyone personally without recording dozens of videos.
Which plan fits
Many small nonprofits start with Starter (20 videos a month), or Growth (50) around a campaign or a gala. See pricing, or contact us about a larger campaign.
Before you send
- No gift amounts or private details. Leave out amounts, payment details, and anything a donor has asked to keep private.
- Respect donor preferences. Send only to people who have not asked to stop hearing from you, and follow your donor privacy policy.
- Individual donors often have no website. Show your own organization's page or the project they supported instead.
- You send each video yourself, by email or another channel you already use with that donor.
How revisions work
- Name, link and website fixes: free, up to 2 per contact video, within 10 days of the video being built. We rebuild only that contact's video.
- Greeting re-take (saying the name again): $0.50 per contact video.
- Changing part of your main message: $2.50 per 15 seconds of new wording, or part of 15 seconds. A 5-second change is $2.50. A 20-second change is $5.00. The same at every length.
- Re-cutting the whole main message: $0.50 per second of the main being re-cut. An uploaded main video gets the same 75% discount.
